Emma Brock
2nd Grade
Welcome to Our Class!
Our classroom is full of possibilities and opportunities for students to learn and grow in many ways! I want to encourage our students to take responsibility for their learning and strive to be their very best in all aspects! With that being said, I value strong communication with my students and their families. I believe that communication plays a large role in a students' success in school. I typically communicate through the School Status app. This allows me to make phone calls and send text messages to parents and families. I love getting to know my students and their families through consistent communication!
Thank you for all that you do at home for your child!
Together, we can make a positive impact!

All About Mrs. Brock
Education and Experience:
I want to start by saying that I am a product of Desoto County schools, and I am thrilled to now be teaching in the school district that I grew up in. I graduated from Center Hill High School, and attended Mississippi State University where I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Hail State!
Personal Info:
My name is Emma Brock, and I currently live in the city of Southaven! I am married, and I have a dog named Sparkles! Some of my favorite hobbies include shopping and spending time with my family!
I chose to pursue a career in education because I truly wanted to have the same impact on children that my teachers had with me growing up. I will forever remember the teachers that played a large role in my life and encouraged me to be the very best version of myself.
