Hello! My name is Alaina Parkerson, and I will be your child's 2nd grade teacher this school year. This is my fourth year teaching second grade. I am graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (GO BULLDOGS). I have a master's degree in Dyslexia Therapy from Mississippi College. In July of 2020, I married my high school sweetheart, and we have a son named Jaxon. My favorite color is blue. My hobbies include playing tennis, traveling anywhere that I can go, and doing anything adventurous (such as skydiving and scuba diving and much more). My favorite team is the MSU Bulldogs, and my favorite food is steak. My favorite restaurant is Zaxby's, and my favorite types of literature are romance novels and adolescent sci-fi books.
