I am so glad that your child is in my class. I cannot wait to see the growth in your child as he/she learns many things this school year. I have been teaching for 8.5 years, and this is my fifth year in first grade. I absolutely love first grade! I have also taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grade.

I also graduated with my Masters in Reading from Arkansas State University. 

 I have two daughters and a son ages 5,4, and 1. I grew up in Hernando, MS while attending schools in MS and TN. I love to travel. I have been to 30 states. A few of my favorite things: Amazon, Candles, Flair Pens, Chick Fil A, Anything Mississippi State, and Gold Peak Sweet Tea. Dislike: Chocolate/Coffee 

This year I have the pleasure of working with Mrs. Lori Melton as our teacher assistant. She has one child who will be a college freshman this year. She has been an assistant for 9 years. She loves anything pigs.
